MAKING THE MOVE                                                                                                                                                   In the ZONE

 

Def: ZONE – an area that is distinguished from the other areas around it, usually in contrast to them. For a believer, It is the sweet spot of God’s success.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

THREE THINGS we must understand if we are going to move into the ZONE:
1. We must understand the heart of God is GENEROUS

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

 

2. We must realize that God is FOR US, not AGAINST us!

Romans 8:28, 31-32 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose...

 

What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

 

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

 

3. We must understand the Principle of BLESSING

Genesis 12:2-3 "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

 

Galatians 3:29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

 

Genesis 24:35 35 The LORD has blessed my master abundantly, and he has become wealthy. He has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, menservants and maidservants, and camels and donkeys.

 

BLESSINGS = To be on the receiving end of the TANGIBLE and intangible favor of God

 

At the heart of this is the concept of OWNERSHIP vs. MANAGEMENT

 

HOW BLESSING IS MEANT TO WORK:
BLESSOR è BLESSED è BLESSING

 

How to we go from blessed to blessing?

1.      Receive

2.      Reflect, ie we MIRROR the heart of God

 

IN THE ZONE = RECEIVING AND REFLECTING
