”Skittles”                                                                    In the
ZONE

BLESSINGS = To be on the receiving end of the TANGIBLE and intangible favor of God

BLESSOR => BLESSED => BLESSING!

At the heart of being in the zone is the idea of OWNERSHIP VS. MANAGEMENT.

Matthew 6:21 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

To move into the ZONE, What do we need to do with God’s part of our Skittles?

1) What we bring to God should be OFF THE TOP as an act of faith, not from the leftovers

Exodus 13:2 Consecrate to me every firstborn male. The first

offspring of every womb among the Israelites belongs to me, whether man or animal.

Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.”

Genesis 4:3 In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the LORD.

2) Don’t Just GIVE them, BRING what belongs to God

Malachi 3:8-9 Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me. But you ask, ‘How do we rob you?’  In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse-the whole nation of you- because you are robbing me.”

Malachi 3:10 ‘Test me in this,’ says the LORD Almighty. ‘Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.  Test me in this,’ says the LORD Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.’

3) We need to bring them to the PROPER PLACE

Exodus 23:19 Bring the best (first) of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the LORD your God.

Malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that

there may be food in my house.

Malachi 3:6 I the LORD do not change.

Matthew 6:21 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Malachi 3:10 “Test me in this,’ says the LORD Almighty. ‘Bring the whole tithe…”
