· 40 Million adults in the U.S. regularly visit Internet porn sites.

 

· Annual revenue from the porn industry is larger than the revenues of professional football, baseball and basketball combined.

 

· Child pornography generates $3 Billion dollars a year and there are over 100 thousand sites offering illegal child porn on the Internet.

 

· $5 billion dollars spent at sex clubs, $11 billion spent hiring prostitutes annually.

 

· Nearly one-half of marriages end in divorce, many from the devastation of an adulterous affair.

 

James 1:13-15 When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; ¹⁴but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. ¹⁵Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

 

1) Tantal-Eyes (Desire)

4) Vandal-Eyes (Death)
Vs. 15b and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death…

 

Proverbs 7:22b-23 …like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer stepping into a noose ²³ till an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him his life.

John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

A prayer to begin a real relationship with God: Dear God, I want a real relationship with you. I realize that I have sinned against you and been my own boss.  I turn from my sin to you, and ask you to forgive me.  Jesus, I know that you died for me and rose again.  So I ask you into my life, as my leader. I accept the forgiveness that you freely give. Thank you for dying for me.  Help me now to live for you. Amen.
