About God?
1.         THAT IT’S ALL ABOUT GOD, NOT ME!
Colossians 1:16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.

2.         THAT GOD STILL WORKS MIRACLES!
Philippians 2:13 …for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

About Life?
1.         THAT LIFE IS PREPARATION FOR ETERNITY
1 John 2:17 The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.

2.   THAT WE’RE PUT ON EARTH FOR 5 PURPOSES
Proverbs 16:4 (NLT) "The Lord has made everything for His purpose."

2.   THAT WE GROW THROUGH FELLOWSHIP
Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

About Our Community?

1.         THAT PEOPLE ARE HUNGRY FOR SPIRITUAL TRUTH
John 4:35b I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.

Now What?

1.    START LIVING WHAT YOU’VE LEARNED!
James 1:22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

2.    PASS IT ON!

40 Days of Purpose Commitment:
Since life is preparation for eternity, I want to use my time on earth fulfilling God's five purposes for me.  I was planned for God's pleasure (Worship) so I will use this day to get to know and love God better.  I was formed for God's family (Fellowship) so I will use this day to show love to other believers.  I was created to become like Christ (Discipleship) so I will use this day to make choices to grow my character.  I was shaped to serve God (Ministry) so I will use this day to serve God by serving others.  I was made for a mission (Evangelism) so I will use this day to share the Good News.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Jesus, thank you for giving your life for me.  As much as I know how, I want to give my life back to you. I want to know you and the purposes for which I was created. I turn to you and ask you to be the leader of my life. Please forgive me for the wrongs I have done against you. I ask you, Jesus Christ, to start changing me from the inside out beginning right now. In your name I pray, Amen.
